Saint Claret School
The Pediatric hospital foundation also has a school, called Saint Claret College, that allows the little guests of the Hospital and the poor children of the area of Mont ‘Ngafula, to attend school for free from daycare to high school level.
The school was built in 2009 and after being recognized as catholic school is now administrated by the order of Claret, like every other catholic school.
Saint Claret School include several pre-school classes, elementary classes, middle classes, high school classes, two classes for kids with disabilities and a library.
The Pediatric Foundation of Kimbondo pays entirely for the educations of 450 kids from the hospital and from the neighborhoods.
The expenses for each child yearly are around 150 Euros ($180).
